and greets visitors; timely handles all telephone calls at company,
establishes nature of business, and directs visitors and calls to
the proper destination in a friendly, professional and helpful
manner ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Additional duties
which are necessary to carry out the function of the Receptionist
may be assigned and are incorporated by reference into this job
description. · Maintain a professional appearance and greet persons
entering the organization with good communication and language
skills · Sign all visitors in/out of the premises; assures visitors
have the appropriate authorization documentation and escort when
entering building · Ensures accountability by keeping written daily
log of staff movements in/out of organization · Answer all incoming
calls to switchboard and transfer to appropriate department ·
Answer overflow calls from the Customer Service Department and
satisfactorily handle matters in accordance with cross trained
skills acquired in order to support the duties and/or
responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative · Responsible
for checking and distributing credit memos · Distributes
applications for employment when necessary · Prepares driver’s
envelopes for distribution to customers and timely sends the
envelopes to the Transportation Department. · Alerts security if
anyone enters without authorization · Handles the reservation for
all company meeting rooms · Monitor and satisfactory respond to
Customer Shortage Line · Reports to work on time, as directed by
the Vice President of Retail Services, and completes the above
listed tasks in a timely and competent manner All personnel within
this job description shall be subject to cross-training into jobs
within the organization based on Company needs. SUPERVISORY
RESPONSIBILITIES: None PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands of
this job include light physical activity performing activities of
an administrative, productive and/or technical nature that must be
met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions
of this job. The employee must regularly talk or hear and reach
with hands or arms. The employees must frequently stand, walk, and
use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee must occasionally
sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and taste or
smell. The employee must occasionally lift up 10 pounds and up to
25 pounds. Vision requirements for this job include close vision,
distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the
ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment
characteristics described here are representative of those an
employee encounters while performing the essential functions of
this job. The employee may occasionally work with the risk of
electrical shock. The noise level of the work environment is
moderate. M-F 7:30-4:00pm
