Job Description Job Description EPC Sr Project Manager Location: Covington, LA or New Orleans Salary: $150k-175k Schedule: 9/80 (off every other Friday) Interview Process: 15 min phone screening with Recruiter Hour Panel Interview (preferably onsite in Covington) Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business administration/management, Project Management, Construction Management, or Engineering 5 years of experience managing substation, transmission, or distribution projects Knowledge of utility engineering practices with an emphasis on Transmission/Substation design and critical path method scheduling Plusses: PMP Certification Day to Day: As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the full project life cycle for complex, high?voltage Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects, ensuring each one is delivered safely, on schedule, within scope, and on budget. You’ll manage EPC Substation, Protection & Controls (P&C), and Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Line projects while reviewing designs, equipment specifications, Bills of Material (BOM), and construction requirements to maintain strict QA/QC standards. Working closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients, you will drive project milestones, develop proposals and schedules, prepare material lists, and provide ongoing performance updates to stakeholders. You will also conduct engineering work reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables to maintain alignment on project goals.
