ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language
pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available
for a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support
students from Kindergarten through 5th grade at an elementary
school in Theodore, Alabama. This position offers hands-on
involvement in delivering speech therapy services to young learners
in a vibrant school setting. Key Responsibilities: Assist in
implementing speech and language therapy plans under the
supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist. Work
directly with K-5 students to improve communication skills and
support individualized education goals. Collaborate with educators,
parents, and the therapy team to monitor student progress. Maintain
accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and state
regulations. Qualifications: Registration with the Board of Speech
Examiners in Alabama is required. Experience working with
elementary-aged children is preferred. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
Ability to work on-site for 35 hours per week during the contract
period. Location: On-site position at an elementary school in
Theodore, AL. Duration: Contract from March 2025 through May 29,
2026. Compensation: Pay ranges from $38 to $50 per hour depending
on experience (0-10 years). This role provides the opportunity to
