Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Located in
Kenner, LA, this full-time contract opportunity within a K-12
school setting requires expertise in speech-language pathology with
a focus on teletherapy services. The role is available immediately,
extending through the end of the school year, providing services
Monday through Friday according to the school calendar. The
position demands a commitment of 35 hours per week, typically 7
hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Part-time
schedules may also be considered based on candidate availability.
Essential qualifications include: - Masters degree in Speech
Language Pathology or Communication Disorders - Active licensure in
Louisiana and in the state of residence - ASHA certification
(CCC-SLP) - Minimum of three years of school-based experience,
preferably within Louisiana schools - Proven competence in
teletherapy or telespeech services - Successful completion of
technical and eligibility screenings - Availability for a
professional prescreen interview within specified timeframes - One
professional reference on file Responsibilities encompass
delivering teletherapy speech-language pathology services tailored
to a school-aged population, adapting therapy plans as needed to
support diverse communication needs. The candidate will manage
caseloads aligned with district requirements and maintain
consistent documentation and communication with educational staff
to ensure comprehensive support. This role presents the chance to
