Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Special
Education Teacher with a valid Louisiana DOE certification seeking
a full-time assignment in a K-12 setting. The role involves
providing dedicated 1:1 support to students within the Jefferson
Parish School District, offering personalized instruction and care
to help meet each student's unique learning needs. Location: New
Orleans, LA Position Type: Contract, full school year (CSY)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 hours per day plus a 30-minute
unpaid lunch, aligned with the school calendar Start Date: ASAP End
Date: 5/22/2026 Key Responsibilities: - Deliver individualized
instruction and support in a 1:1 setting to students identified for
specialized education services - Collaborate with educational teams
to develop and implement IEPs tailored to students' goals and
abilities - Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in
accordance with district guidelines - Foster a positive, supportive
learning environment that promotes student growth and independence
- Comply with all district and state requirements, including drug
screening and fingerprinting Qualifications: - Active, valid
Louisiana DOE certification in Special Education (no expired or
pending renewal licenses accepted) - Experience working with K-12
students in special education settings, preferably in 1:1
environments - Ability to begin immediately and adapt quickly to
student needs and district expectations - Successful completion of
all required district credentialing protocols This contract role
