Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) at an early childhood school in Kenner, LA. This role offers
flexibility with full- or part-time options, an onsite workplace,
and an immediate start. The contract is set for the current school
year with the potential for renewal. Responsibilities: Provide
speech-language therapy services across a range of student levels,
focusing primarily on middle and high school, though placements may
include elementary depending on candidate experience. Assess,
diagnose, and develop individualized therapy plans to support
students with communication disorders. Collaborate with educators
and support staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
setting. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in
accordance with school policies and procedures. Attend team
meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive
services for students. Qualifications: Current SLP certification
with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. Experience
working with children and adolescents in educational settings.
Ability to adapt services to a variety of student age groups and
skill levels. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Dedication to supporting students speech and language development
effectively. Location: Onsite position based at an early childhood
