Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the
2026-2027 school year in New Orleans, LA, serving a K-12 school
setting. This contract position offers hands-on experience working
onsite with students ranging from PreK through 8th grade.
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive speech and
language services to students with a caseload tailored to your
preference: Option 1: PreK-8th grade with 50-60 students Option 2:
4th-8th grade with approximately 55 students Key duties involve
assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders in
school-aged children, collaborating with educators and families to
design individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintaining
accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal
guidelines. Qualifications: Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical
Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates in Clinical Fellowship (CF)
are encouraged to apply Experience working in school-based settings
(K-12) beneficial Strong knowledge of speech and language
development and disorders in children Ability to manage a diverse
caseload effectively and demonstrate excellent organizational
skills Commitment to on-site service delivery Location: New
Orleans, Louisiana Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Duration: Contract for the 2026-2027 school year Onsite work
