Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An
opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist with
experience in telespeech services, specializing in supporting
students in grades K-8. This contract role focuses on delivering
speech therapy services within a school setting, with an emphasis
on effective remote communication and individualized student
engagement. Responsibilities include: Providing comprehensive
speech-language therapy to students in grades K-5 and 6-8.
Conducting telespeech sessions designed to meet each students
communication needs. Collaborating with a dedicated facilitator to
coordinate pulling students for individual or small group sessions.
Developing and implementing therapy plans aligned with students
goals and progress monitoring. Communicating regularly with
educational staff to integrate speech goals within classroom
activities. Maintaining accurate documentation on student progress
and sessions conducted. Qualifications and experience: Valid state
licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Proficiency in
telespeech delivery methods and digital communication tools.
Experience working with children in elementary and middle school
settings. Strong organizational skills to manage remote scheduling
and collaboration with facilitators. Knowledge of developmental
speech disorders and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
Location:This position serves a school in New Orleans, LA, with
services provided through telespeech for seamless student access.
Contract terms: Engagement is for the remainder of the current
