Job Description Job Description Oil Bay Technician / Apprentice – Toyota Hattiesburg APPLY IN PERSON - DO NOT CALL. Looking to add an expierienced person to Lube Technician team. This person needs to be able to complete tasks that are listed on a ticket for each vehicle and maintain a clean work environment.Must be able to work with others, come to work on time, follow directions, and care about the quality of their work. Seeking an experienced person proficent at changing oil, rotating tires, and identifying basic vehicle needs. A We will train a candidate with no experience but has a positive attitude and the aptitude for learning. Pay depends on experience. FULL TIME HOURS. We are looking forward to meeting you. COME TO THE DEALERSHIP TO HAVE AN INTERVIEW M-F 9-4. Ask for Catherine or Mary at the front desk. Please come dressed appropriately for a job interview (shorts and flip flops are not acceptable). All applicants are interviewed. Responsibilities Perform multipoint inspections Communicate additional service/repair needs to service advisors Inspect fluid levels in steering gears, power steering reservoirs, transmissions, differentials, rear axle housings and shackles Check tire pressure Replace oil and air filters Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs Patch tires (tire repair) Installs new tires and wheels Participates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties, and company policies Come to work on time Qualifications Must meet dealership’s requirements for employment Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and information Familiarity with all aspects of automotive repair/maintenance Must have a valid driver license and be able to operate manual transmissions Effective communication and interpersonal skills Physical Requirements/Working Conditions Occasional exposure to inclement weather Ability to operate an automobile Prolonged periods of standing, stooping and bending Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects Requires a significant amount of walking and/or standing. May also require working in the seated position for long periods while operating controls with arms and legs. This position may also require working at a production pace while pushing and/or pulling materials from place to place. Must be able to lift tires of all vehicles.
