Job Description:

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Psychiatric Technician at Gulfport Naval Base located in Gulfport Naval, MS.

  Experience: Shall have at least 12 months psychiatric experience within the past 24 months and at least 6 months experience administering psychometric testing.
  Requirements:

  • 
    Qualifying Degree from an accredited program; or completion of an equivalent education and experience that meets the requirement of the American Association of Psychiatric Technicians; OR Completion of Education and experience as a behavioral science specialist/technician in the United States Military and proof of having completed an Armed Forces course involving psychiatric technician training or civilian course from an accredited school in the care of behavioral health patients.

    Duties:
    
    • 
      
    • Administer, score and document a full range of neuropsychological and psychological tests, including intellectual and academic assessment instruments and personality assessment inventories and measures, under the supervision of a psychologist or clinical neuropsychologist.
