Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 52 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days, nights, flexible - Employment Type: Local Contract MRI Technologist Location: Metairie, LA Pay: $37 – $40 per hour Schedule: Full-Time (Shift details discussed during interview) Job Description We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join a healthcare facility in Metairie, Louisiana. The MRI Tech will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging studies while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with established protocols. Responsibilities - Perform MRI exams per physician orders and department protocols - Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications - Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures - Operate MRI equipment and ensure image quality - Document exams accurately in the EMR/EHR system - Follow safety, infection control, and quality standards - Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff Requirements - ARRT certification in MRI required - Active Louisiana license (if applicable) - Minimum 1 year of MRI experience preferred - Knowledge of MRI safety standards and procedures About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
