ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in New Orleans, Louisiana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work split 12-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM • Minimum 3 years experience in PV surgery, including hybrid OR required • Must have Epic experience • Travel experience required - first time travelers not accepted • Available to fill in other specialties such as neuro, ortho, and robotics preferred • Must be willing to participate in "Emergency Team" assignments during emergency events • Must stay at facility until after emergency events pass or be part of relief team • Required certifications: BLS, AHA certifications • Skills required: Circulate/Telemetry, Conscious Sedation • Must have Louisiana license or compact license in hand upon submittal • Must live over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted) • 36 hours of orientation provided over 5 days • Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics • Two pre-approved time off requests allowed • Must have 2 manager/supervisor references for clearance to start • NURSYS reports must be current within 4 weeks of submission Facility: This major medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility providing advanced surgical services including peripheral vascular surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and robotics.
