Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: New Orleans, LA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,074 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty required License: Compact or state license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Epic charting experience - Must float to ICUs and SDUs Description: Please ensure you are aware of the following: Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed during each emergency event, as impacts may vary. You should not apply for this role if you are not comfortable with the above. Open to 3x12s, with the potential to pick up a possible 4th shift occasionally. This is a high acuity heart failure unit within a cardiology critical care setting. Patient diagnoses include cardiogenic shock, decompensated heart failure, STEMI, NSTEMI, post cardiac arrest, TAVR, pulmonary hypertension, and pulmonary embolism. Special procedures include pericardial drains, targeted temperature management, and pacemaker placement. Special equipment includes PA catheters, IABP, Impella, transvenous pacemakers, and CADD pumps for remodulin infusion. The patient ratio is 1:2 during night shifts. You will be working with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. References may be required for clearance to start the contract. Please ensure all certifications are up to date prior to submission.
