Job Description:

Channel Control Merchants, LLC is now accepting applications for a Retail Asset Protection Leader. We are looking for the ideal candidate who will be responsible for the asset protection function in the store. The Retail Asset Protection Leader reports directly to the Regional APM with a dotted line to the Store Manager.Benefits:

• On the job training Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Audit customer receipts at door on a random basis
  • Review camera system for transaction accuracy
  • Audit and work truck arrival days to ensure merchandise is accurate
  • Perform APM audit at least twice a week
  • Ensure the backroom is clean of merchandise in both Dirt Cheap and DCBS stores
  • Partner with Store Manager to build store schedule so APM coverage is available
  • Review and ensure all safety precautions are taken in the store; any safety items identified, this position will train store team members
  • Wear provided uniform when on shift
  • Responsible for store scorecard to include sales performance, average basket size and BRI
  • Responsible for facilitating new-hire orientations, teaching, and training sessions, monthly safety meetings, and weekly huddles with all cash handlers to emphasize the importance of ringing our product correctly
  • Responsible for all forklift certifications RequirementsEducation and Experience:
    • The successful applicant must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Asset Protection retail environment
    • The ability to create evaluations to assess Asset Protection needs Skills and Competencies:
