Job Description:
Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated Roll Off Driver Class A who
will be responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty truck to
perform assigned duties on container delivery, swing, and disposal
routes. This position is crucial as it directly correlates with our
commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. As
part of our transportation team, you will help us continue to
provide leading environmental, energy, and industrial services
while ensuring safe and compliant transport of hazardous and
non-hazardous waste. Operate Roll Off trucks according to company
policies and state/federal laws, transporting containers to
disposal sites. Perform daily inspections on the truck and
equipment for operational safety. Coordinate with the dispatch team
for efficient route planning and container swaps. Ensure compliance
with DOT regulations, checking routes and paperwork for accuracy.
Manage logs and records according to DOT and company regulations.
Participate in regular safety meetings and trainings, maintaining a
strong culture of safety. Proficient in operating heavy-duty trucks
and equipment. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety
standards. Good communication and logistical planning skills.
Ability to manage and maintain logs and records effectively.
Medical Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
(CDL) with clean driving record. HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
preferred.
