Job Description POSITION OVERVIEW: Responsible for all export/Import Materials to and from the Tropics, Shipping and Receiving, and managing forklift operators. This role supports NA Maintenance Manager on NA ports Parts inventory audits and reconciliation, Master POs handling and training NA Maintenance Supervisors. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate or Manage Export/Import Materials to and from the Tropics Coordinate or Manage Shipping and Receiving for all NA ports Manage Inventory and Quality Control/Hazardous Material Handling Manage Procurement Support Coach and manage forklift operators adhering to safety OSHA compliance Always support the Tropics Ports Manage Supplier/Supplier Invoice handling and reconciliation Great White Fleet Support Broker Handling Follow all Chiquita---s SOPs Manage Invoice Handling and reconciliation JOB REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma required Mechanical background or experience a plus Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word Strong computer skills Knowledge of MCS a plus Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Experience leading a team or group of employees Ability to read, speak, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs Must wear approved safety shoes JOB ENVIRONMENT: General office, shop and warehouse Incumbent may use calculators, computers, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday Must be able to lift 50 pounds easily throughout shift Must be able to twist/turn, reach over shoulders and stand/walk on a continual basis. Must be able to work shifts as assigned such as weekends, holidays and mandatory overtime Stooping, squatting, walking, reaching, bending, twisting, lifting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties Use repetitive motions using upper and lower extremities, mount and dismount equipment
