Job Description Job Description Summary Inside counter sales
position, serving professional contractors, industrial and resale
clients. Very diverse customer base and product offering of
Industrial Grade Tools, Supplies, Safety products and related
Accessories and parts. Duties Duties include serving walk in
customers, by consulting with them and figuring out the best
products that will meet their needs. Must use computer to serve the
customer by inputting orders, invoicing customers, taking payments,
and doing research to check stock, get pricing and gather
information. Also, restock showroom and learn how to merchandise
our products using displays and signage. Keep showroom pricing up
to date. Call customers to advise when orders arrive or tools are
ready for pick up. Complete paperwork needs, including closing out
a cash drawer daily and confirming all tickets in computer. Process
credit cards, handle cash and make change. Help with filing and
scanning of documents as needed. With enough training, will begin
to handle inbound sales calls and e-mailed requests for quote on
product from customers. Pull orders for customers at the counter
and periodically help in warehouse when short staffed there. Clear
completed repair jobs by pulling the paperwork, staging the
repaired tool and then calling the customer for pick up. Other
duties as assigned. Requirements Must be computer literate. Must
know how to add and subtract and do basic math and use a
calculator. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs,, work on your feet
many hours a day and be able to go up and down stairs. Experience
in our industry is preferred but not required. Must be at least
High School or equivalent graduate and be able to read and write
clearly. Good communication skills are necessary. Neat and groomed
appearance at work necessary. Must posses mechanical aptitude. Nice
To Haves College Degree useful. Sales training and experience.
Industry experience. Desire to grow, learn and be promoted.
Willingness to pitch in and help whenever and wherever needed.
