TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified
PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in New Orleans, Louisiana, 70121! Job Title:

Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience:
Minimum of 2 Years in Specialty License: Compact or State License
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Background
in PACU or Pre/Post Op Experience - Experience with Special
Procedures: LHC, RHC, TAVR, Ablations, TEE, Cardioversion, Loop
Recorders, Pacemakers, Vascular Procedures - Ability to work on an
"Emergency Team" as assigned Description: The registered nurse will
care for pre/post patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
Experience in managing and accessing ports, airway assessment, and
ambulatory/outpatient care is required. Candidates should be
proficient in anticoagulation therapy and antihypertensives. The
role involves administering blood products and responding to
cardiac arrest/CPR situations. Conscious sedation and discharge
instructions are essential components of the position. Candidates
must demonstrate competency in medication reconciliation and
monitoring anesthesia care. Familiarity with collecting 12-lead
EKGs and obtaining operative/procedural consent is required. Pain
assessment and management during Phase I and II Recovery are
crucial. The expected patient demographics include adults and
geriatrics. The unit works collaboratively with interdisciplinary
support teams such as respiratory services and rapid response
teams. Candidates will require a strong commitment to patient care
and should be prepared to engage in diverse procedures. Travelers
will not be accepted from local areas or without the necessary
experience in the specialty. All candidates must meet licensure and
